First, the signal output of the sensor is mainly divided into two types – analog signals: current, voltage; Digital signal: RS485.
Second, the use of the terminal resistance of the user-side transceiver in the use of the sensor [precautions]:
1. The communication line of the sensor should be shielded twisted pair, and the shielding layer should be connected to the earth at a single point; No, twisted pair do not match a 120Ω termination resistor.
2. When there is no signal reflection problem, try not to use terminal resistance; This is because termination resistors generate significant power dissipation during fast communication.
3. When multiple 485 connections are transmitted remotely, reflections occur, and termination resistors need to be added, but the pull-up resistor matching should be carried out according to the number of 485 channels to prevent the termination matching resistor from pulling the voltage difference between AB low, less than the 485 communication threshold, and the phenomenon of failure to work normally.
4, 2-32 channel communication, no reflection, no termination resistor, the user-side transceiver can be connected to 3.9K-24K pull-up and down resistor (generally transceivers are in this range) 2-32 channel communication, there is reflection, connected to the termination resistor, it is recommended that the sensor user-side transceiver be connected to 500-750Ω pull-up and down resistor.
