Analyze the cause of the fault according to the trend chart of the control room, check whether the pressure value deviation caused by the process is wrongly judged as an instrument problem. If it is a process reason, the trend indication and the pressure indication range slowly change the trend, or according to the working conditions there is a regular change, if it is an instrument problem, the general trend chart does not change slowly, the change range is very sharp. 2. If the fault is overrange, first power off it, and then observe in the power transmission, if the fault display is still overrange, then measure whether the current value corresponds to its indicated pressure value. 3. Compare the pressure displayed on site with reference to the differential pressure transmitter, compare it with the pressure value displayed by the local indication pressure gauge, and confirm whether there is residual pressure in the measurement pipeline. 4. Make one or two mechanical zero point adjustments to the differential pressure transmitter, and the fault is still displayed as overrange, then it is necessary to consider whether it is a fault of the instrument itself. 5. The fault conditions of the differential pressure transmitter itself are divided into two types. Situation 1: The three major modules of the transmitter are faulty, and Situation 2: The transmitter pressure diaphragm is deformed. 6. If the fault of the differential pressure transmitter is still overrange after replacing the module, then the final situation is that the differential pressure transmitter pressure diaphragm is deformed or damaged.
