Temperature sensor of the power supply caused by the failure:
Temperature sensor power supply range is 9 ~ 30VDC, or 8.5 ~ 30VDC, customer sites use more 12VDC, 24VDC DC switching power supply. In general, the power supply will not cause damage to the temperature sensor. If there is a problem with the power supply, it is likely to damage the temperature sensor. When the supply voltage is low, the temperature sensor just won’t work properly and won’t be damaged. When the supply voltage is high, the temperature sensor will be damaged and burned.
The damaging effects of surges on temperature sensors:
Surge is the most common and biggest black hand that damages temperature sensors. It is actually a violent pulse that occurs in just a few millionths of a second. Possible causes include heavy equipment, short circuits, power switching, or large engines. Temperature sensors containing a surge blocking device can effectively absorb sudden bursts of huge energy to protect the connected equipment from damage. So to do a good job of temperature sensors a variety of grounding, insulation, shielding, protection circuits and other protective measures.
Temperature sensor of electromagnetic interference trouble:
Large motors, large machinery, reactors, power equipment, transmission lines, radio, and even by chance through the large-scale equipment that can generate electromagnetic fields, basically electromagnetic wave conduction or radiation, electromagnetic interference is complex, diverse, no way to exhaustive description. Therefore, experienced temperature sensor engineers or technicians in the field to carefully analyze the site environment, to take the necessary measures. At the beginning of the design, the electromagnetic interference as a precautionary focus, so that prevention is better than cure, and strive to reduce the subsequent use of temperature sensors in the process of trouble.
