Temperature and humidity sensors have been widely used in all aspects of our production and life, temperature and humidity sensors can well monitor the temperature and humidity in the environment. It has important applications in textile production, medical pharmaceutical, printing plant, food production and storage, environmental testing, cultural relics protection, etc. What should we do if we encounter a phenomenon that cannot be used normally when using the temperature and humidity sensor?
Temperature and humidity sensor in the process of use due to misoperation or special conditions on the site, resulting in the phenomenon that the temperature and humidity sensor can not be used normally, some common faults mainly temperature and humidity sensor no signal output or temperature and humidity sensor output data error.
Temperature and humidity sensor has no signal output
When used in the field, the control instrument, PLC, industrial computer, control board, etc. do not receive the relevant signals of the temperature and humidity sensor. If such a phenomenon occurs, the following aspects should be examined. First of all, it is necessary to confirm whether the temperature and humidity sensor is powered by electricity. If there is still no signal after power supply, check whether the wiring of the temperature and humidity sensor is correct. The four wires can be removed to measure the voltage/current output of the temperature signal and humidity signal separately with a multimeter. Refer to the wiring diagram in the temperature and humidity sensor manual to correctly wire the temperature and humidity sensor.
There is an error in the output data of the temperature and humidity sensor
There are two main manifestations of this fault: first, the temperature and humidity sensor signal jumps irregularly; Second, the temperature and humidity sensor output does not match the measurement. This kind of fault must first confirm whether the temperature and humidity sensor signal transmission cable is properly selected, and when long-distance transmission requires the selection of multi-core cable with shielding effect, and the shielding layer is grounded. Secondly, incorrect use of the supply voltage of the temperature and humidity sensor will also lead to errors in the output data. The power supply voltage used by the temperature and humidity sensor should be 9~36VDC.
