Before the differential pressure transmitter is wired, we need to determine the signal output mode of the differential pressure transmitter, and the output mode is essentially different from the wiring. The current output of the differential pressure transmitter is two-wire, the voltage output is three-wire, and the RS485 digital signal output is four-wire.
The user must ensure that the outer diameter of the cable used for the differential pressure transmitter is within the allowable range of the ferrule. In addition, ensure that the differential pressure transmitter cable is securely and gap-free in the ferrule. The locking diameter of the crimping cap is 4~6mm (it is recommended to use a shielded cable of φ5).
Differential pressure transmitters must be properly installed in sockets to ensure protection level.
It should be noted that the current output of the differential pressure transmitter has reverse polarity protection (no damage but does not work), current and voltage limit protection. Reverse connection of other output signals can cause damage to the differential pressure transmitter.
Finally, it is important to emphasize that the differential pressure transmitter must all be effectively grounded. The grounding of differential pressure transmitters plays an important role, first of all to protect personal safety and the safe operation of electrical equipment. Secondly, it is for the stability and anti-interference of differential pressure transmitter signal transmission. Proper grounding of the differential pressure transmitter after installation allows the automation and control system to reduce unnecessary faults and errors.
