There are many kinds of threads for pressure sensors, the common ones are NPT, PT, G, M, all of which are pipe threads. NPT is a 60-degree cone pipe thread that belongs to the American standard for pressure sensors and is used in North America. PT is a 55 degree sealed conical pipe thread, which belongs to the Wyeth pressure sensor thread family, which is mostly used in Europe and Commonwealth countries. It is commonly used in the water and gas pipe industry and has a taper specification of 1:16. G is a 55 degree non-threaded seal pipe thread that belongs to the Wyeth pressure sensor thread family. Marked G stands for cylindrical thread. M is a metric common thread, such as M20*1.5 means that the diameter is 20mm, the pitch is 1.5, if the customer has no special requirements, the pressure sensor is generally M20*1.5 thread. In addition, the 1/4, 1/2, and 1/8 marks in the thread refer to the diameter of the thread size in inches. Insiders usually use points to call the thread size, one inch is equal to 8 points, 1/4 inch is 2 points, and so on. ZG is commonly known as the pipe cone, that is, the thread is processed by a conical surface, the general water pipe pressure joint is like this, the old national standard is marked as Rc metric thread is represented by pitch, and the American and British thread is expressed by the number of thread teeth per inch, which is the biggest difference between pressure sensor threads. The metric thread is 60 degree equilateral, the inch thread is isosceles 55 degrees, and the American thread is 60 degrees. Metric units are used for metric threads, and imperial units are used for American and British threads.
