The 3051 differential pressure transmitter is an intelligent multi-function instrument. The 3051 differential pressure transmitter can measure the volume flow or mass flow of gases, vapors and liquids, measure the level, volume and mass of liquids, and can also monitor the differential pressure. It can meet the measurement requirements of complex working conditions. The main components of the 3051 pressure transmitter are the sensor module and the housing of the electronic components. The sensor module consists of an oil-filled sensor system (diaphragm, oil-filled system, and sensor) as well as sensor electronics. The sensor electronics are housed in the sensor module and include a temperature sensor (resistance test detector), memory module, and capacitive/digital signal converter (C/D converter). The electronic signal from the sensor module is transmitted to the output electronics in the electronics housing. The electronics enclosure includes the output electronic circuit board (microprocessor, memory module, digital/analog signal converter or D/A converter), the local zero and range buttons, and the terminal block. When the 3051 differential pressure transmitter is working, the isolation diaphragm and filling liquid on the high and low pressure sides transmit the process pressure to the filling solution, and then the filling liquid transmits the pressure to the sensing diaphragm in the center of the sensor. Since the sensing diaphragm of the 3051 differential pressure transmitter is a tensioned, elastic element, its displacement varies with the compression. The 3051 differential pressure transmitter sensing diaphragm has a maximum displacement of 0.004 inches (0.1 mm) and the displacement is proportional to the pressure. The capacitive plates on both sides detect the position of the sensing diaphragm, and the difference in capacitance between the sensing diaphragm and the capacitive plate is converted into the corresponding current, and the relevant signal is output through the voltage of the 3051 differential voltage transmitter or the data of the digital HART high-speed addressable remote transmitter.
