In this way, the output of the differential pressure transmitter can increase when the liquid level rises; The output decreases when the level drops, resulting in correct measurement results. Similarly, the differential pressure transmitter is also the same when measuring the flow rate, the positive pressure conduit is connected to the high-pressure side of the differential pressure transmitter, and the negative pressure conduit is connected to the low-pressure side of the differential pressure transmitter, so that the differential pressure transmitter can work normally.
In the actual on-site installation process, due to improper operation and other reasons, the high and low pressure conduit is reversed, or in order to maintain and operate conveniently, the positive pressure conduit must be connected to the low-pressure side of the transmitter, and the negative pressure conduit must be connected to the high-pressure side of the transmitter. At this time, can the differential pressure transmitter still work normally? Does the pressure pipe need to be removed and reconnected?
For differential pressure transmitters that measure hydrostatic liquid level, the pressure guide tube is reversed, and the output can only be displayed in reverse against convention. When the liquid level is lowest, the output is not zero, but 100%; When the liquid level is highest, the output is not the maximum, but O%, and this is how the differential pressure gauge with no zero migration in the early years was used. However, for differential pressure transmitters that measure flow, the pressure guide tube is connected backwards and usually does not work.
