Hello everyone, welcome to the Star Instrument Classroom, in this issue, let’s talk about what is the relationship between sensors and transmitters?
The sensor is a kind of detection device, which can feel the measured information, and can transform the felt information into electrical signals or other required forms of information output according to a certain law, so as to meet the requirements of information transmission, processing, storage, display, recording and control.
Transmitters are developed from sensors, and any sensor that can output a standard signal is called a transmitter. For example, the current output is 4-20mA, the voltage signal is 0-5VDC, 0-10VDC, and the digital signal is RS485.
It can be said that the transmitter must be a sensor, but the sensor is not necessarily a transmitter, so don’t be stupid and confused!
Star Meter Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production and sales. Specializing in the production of pressure transmitters, liquid level transmitters, temperature transmitters, temperature and humidity transmitters, differential pressure transmitters, soil moisture transmitters, 3051 transmitters and related instrumentation accessories.
