Target flow meters are generally installed on horizontal pipes. The length of the front straight pipe section is 15~40D, and the length of the rear straight pipe section is 5D. 2. Turbine flowmeter The flow measurement of clean gas and clean liquid with kinematic viscosity not more than 5×10-6m2/s can be used when more accurate measurement is required and the range ratio is not more than 10:1. The turbine flowmeter should be installed on the horizontal pipeline, so that the liquid fills the entire pipeline, and the upstream and downstream stop valves and bypass valves, as well as the upstream filter and the downstream discharge valve. The length of the straight pipe section: not less than 20D in the upstream and not less than 5D in the downstream. 3. Vortex flowmeter (Carmen vortex flowmeter or vortex flowmeter) Medium and large flow measurement of clean gases, vapours and liquids with optional vortex flowmeters. For the measurement of low-velocity fluids and liquids with viscosity greater than 20×10-3pa·s, vortex flowmeters should not be used. The flow rate of the pipe should be checked at the time of selection. The flowmeter has the characteristics of low pressure loss and easy installation. Requirements for straight pipe sections: 15~40D upstream (depending on the piping situation); When the rectifier is added upstream, the upstream is not less than 10D; Downstream is at least 5D. 4. Water meter When the flow rate of local accumulated water is less than 30:1, the water meter can be used. The water meter is installed on the horizontal pipeline, and the length of the straight pipe section is required to be not less than 8D upstream and not less than 5D downstream.
