A testing instrument refers to an instrument that can detect the size of the variable to be measured. Testing instrumentation is a relatively large concept, which can be a sensor, a transmitter or an instrument with both detection elements and display devices. For example, in the industrial production process, the pressure, temperature, level, flow rate and other physical quantities of the medium in different parts of the equipment and pipelines are rapidly changing. The main function of the testing instrument is to detect the value of these physical quantities at each moment.

Pressure Instrumentation –
Pressure measuring instruments are used to detect pressure, vacuum, and differential pressure. According to its working principle, it can be divided into the following types:
Inductive pressure instrumentation: such as resistive pressure transmitter (as shown in the figure), capacitive pressure transmitter, inductive pressure transmitter, Hall pressure transmitter, etc.
Elastic pressure instrumentation: According to its elastic elements, it is divided into spring tube manometer, diaphragm manometer, diaphragm box manometer, pressure switch, etc.
Liquid column pressure instrumentation: such as U-shaped tube, straight pipe, inclined tube pressure gauge.
Temperature Gauge –
Commonly used temperature measuring instruments include glass thermometers, bimetal thermometers, pressure (thermometer) thermometers, temperature switches, thermocouple temperature transmitters, thermal resistance temperature transmitters, as well as radiation thermometers, optical pyrometers, photoelectric pyrometers and other radiation thermometers.
Level Gauge –
The level instrument mainly measures the liquid level of a certain medium in the tower, tank and container, or the interface of two liquids with different specific gravity and the level of solid materials.
The common types of level gauges are level transmitters, glass tube level gauges, glass plate level gauges, and buoyancy level gauges (such as float level gauges, level switches, float level gauges, buoy level gauges, steel belt level gauges, tank level weighers, etc.).
The level detection of solid materials includes resistive level gauge, capacitive level gauge, level switch, hammer detection level gauge, tuning fork level gauge, ultrasonic level gauge, radioactive level gauge, etc.
Flow Meter——
There are many kinds of flow measuring instruments, which are widely used by throttling devices and their supporting differential pressure flow transmitters. Other flow meters include water meters, rotameters, elliptical gear flowmeters, target flowmeters, electromagnetic flowmeters, vortex flowmeters, anyuba flowmeters, mass flowmeters, etc.
