The temperature transmitter converts the temperature variable into a standardized output signal that can be transmitted, and converts the AC current of the main circuit under test into a constant current loop standard signal, which is continuously transmitted to the receiving device. RTD temperature transmitters The RTD used in RTD temperature transmitters is made of semiconductor materials, and most of them have a negative temperature coefficient, that is, the resistance value decreases with the increase of temperature. Temperature changes cause large resistance changes, making it the most sensitive temperature transmitter. RTDs are very small in size and respond quickly to temperature changes. However, thermistors require the use of a current source, and their small size makes them extremely sensitive to self-heating errors. RTD measures the absolute temperature on two lines and has good accuracy. RTD temperature transmitters are ideal for current control applications that require fast and sensitive temperature measurements. Thermocouple temperature transmitters Thermocouple temperature transmitters are the most commonly used temperature transmitters for temperature measurement. Its main benefits are a wide temperature range and adaptability to a wide range of atmospheric environments, as well as being robust, inexpensive, without the need for power supply, and the cheapest.
