During field use, the differential pressure transmitter transmits the measured gas to the differential pressure transmitter through the impulse tube for measurement. The differential pressure transmitter can then convert the detection data into an analog or standard signal. Therefore, the impulse tube plays an important role in differential pressure transmitters.
Then the differential pressure transmitter has several points to pay attention to when using the impulse tube
First: the thickness and length of the impulse tube are appropriate, generally the inner diameter is 6~10mm, and the length is 3~50m.
Second: the horizontally installed impulse tube should maintain an inclination of (1:10) ~ (1:20).
Third: When the measured medium is easy to condense or freeze, a heat preservation heat tracing tube should be installed.
Fourth: When measuring gas pressure, a gas-liquid separator should be installed at the lowest point of the impulse pipe, and when the measurement medium may produce precipitate precipitation, a settler should be installed before the instrument.
Fifth: In order to avoid the distortion of static differential pressure signal transmission, the positive and negative impulse pressure tubes should be as close as possible, and the impulse pipe of the freeze-prone medium should be kept and heated with steam or hot water. The differential pressure transmitter is generally installed in the incubator (protective box) on the ground or platform, and then laid with a special insulation hot line.
Xingyi’s newly launched transmitter pressure tube is made of silicone, with an outer diameter of 6mm and an inner diameter of 3mm. The wall thickness is 1.5mm. Suitable for impulse tube use in related differential pressure transmitters.
