Nowadays, pressure sensors are more and more widely used in our lives. It also brings a lot of convenience to our production work. However, in the process of use, some failures arise due to improper operation or technical problems. There are many types of failure in pressure transmitters, and today our technicians will answer the problem of pressure transmitter seal failure.
If the pressure transmitter output does not change when pressurized for the first time during the use of the pressure transmitter, the output suddenly changes when the pressure transmitter is pressurized again. When the pressure transmitter is depressurized, the zero position of the pressure transmitter cannot be returned. Many times the on-site operator will think that it is a problem with the pressure transmitter, thinking that the pressure transmitter is damaged, etc. In fact, this phenomenon is likely to be a problem with the sealing ring of the pressure transmitter.
The common situation is because of the specification of the sealing ring of the pressure transmitter, when the pressure transmitter is tightened, the sealing ring is compressed into the pressure intake port of the pressure transmitter, thus blocking the pressure transmitter, when pressurized, the pressure can not go up, when the pressure is large enough to break the sealing ring to a certain extent, the pressure transmitter detects the pressure and changes.
The best way is to remove the pressure transmitter from the equipment, see if the zero position of the pressure transmitter is restored to normal, the zero position is normal, and then install the pressure transmitter on the equipment after replacing the matching sealing ring.
