At present, many transmitters at home and abroad use Hersmann connectors, involving pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, differential pressure transmitters and other types. This trend is related to the characteristics of Hersmann joints.
The transmitter adopts Hersmann connector, which has a good dustproof and splashproof function; The Hersmann connector has four terminal blocks, which can meet different output modes such as two-wire, three-wire or four-wire; The transmitter line with Hirschmann connector is not easy to fall off and there is no interference between the lines, which ensures the reliability and stability of signal transmission. Let’s take a look at how the Hersmann plug of the transmitter is used.
First of all, we need to rotate the M3 screw of the cross disc head on the top of the Hersmann connector of the transmitter (see Figure 1-1).
Second, unplug the plastic insert of the transmitter’s Hersmann connector (see Figure 1-2).
Then, use a flathead screwdriver to insert the wiring socket from the removal slot.
Finally, after prying out, penetrate the shielded cable from the outlet hole part of Figure 1-3, wire according to the wiring diagram at the terminal block on the back of the terminal block, restore to Figure 1-1 after the wiring is completed, and lock the wire cap.
In this way, the wiring of the Hersmann connector transmitter is completed, and after the wiring is completed, the terminal seat can be installed back in the direction of the outgoing wire. The user needs to ensure that the outer diameter of the cable used is within the allowable range of the ferrule. It is also necessary to ensure that the cable is securely installed in the ferrule without gaps. The clamping diameter of the crimping cap is 5~6.5mm. Proper installation of Hersmann fittings ensures a better degree of protection for the transmitter.
