In general, the differential pressure transmitter is calibrated by low-end pressure through the atmosphere, but almost all occasions when using differential pressure transmitters contain a certain value of static pressure acting on the two ports of the high and low pressure capacitance chambers of the differential pressure transmitter. Due to the high sensitivity of the differential pressure transmitter itself, even a small static pressure can change significantly, and the following methods can be used to measure the static pressure error.
First, a single static pressure test
The nominal pressure is applied to the high and low pressure chambers respectively, and the basic error and return error are measured after the pressure is relieved, and their values should meet the requirements of the appraisal regulations.
Second, static pressure test
At the same time, the rated pressure is applied in the high and low pressure chambers, and the change of the output lower limit value after pressure relief should meet the requirements of the verification regulations.
Reducing the impact of zero changes:
In the differential pressure transmitter, the installation position of the differential pressure transmitter has the greatest influence on the zero output, especially the micro differential pressure transmitter because its measurement range is very small, and the self-weight of the sensing element in the transmitter will also affect the output of the micro differential pressure transmitter, so it is normal for the zero change to occur in the installation of the micro differential pressure transmitter. The way to eliminate zero changes is to install the pressure-sensitive element of the transmitter axially perpendicular to the direction of gravity. If the installation conditions are restricted, the zero position of the transmitter should be adjusted to the standard value after installation, and the negative pressure chamber of the differential pressure transmitter should be installed with a water collector during installation, and the sewage should be discharged frequently, so as not to affect the accuracy of water accumulation.
