In the measurement process of differential pressure transmitter, many users can not deal with the failure of the field instrument in time, which seriously affects the normal operation of production to a certain extent, and even more importantly, it will involve the safety of production. It is very important to determine, analyze and deal with the fault of the differential pressure transmitter in time.
Faulty cable
When the computer shows that the value is abnormal, first open the junction box of the differential pressure transmitter, check whether the line is virtual, short connected or disconnected, and the fault can be judged and dealt with by measuring the power supply, quantity resistance, shake insulation and other methods.
Acquisition module or differential pressure transmitter failure
When troubleshooting the line, it depends on whether the acquisition module or differential pressure sensor is faulty. Use a multimeter to check whether the working power supply of the differential pressure transmitter is normal, and measure whether the output current value of the differential pressure transmitter is in the range of 4mA~20mA (if it is an output voltage value, whether the measurement is within the range of 0~5V) to confirm whether the output value is normal. If there is no output value, the differential pressure transmitter is damaged and the differential pressure transmitter needs to be replaced. If the conversion of the field measurement value is consistent with the actual empirical value, there is no problem with the field instrument and measurement point, the module is damaged, and the module needs to be replaced. When the field measurement is converted to the same value as the computer display, there is a problem with the impulse tube or differential pressure transmitter.
Variable frequency interference
In the process of on-site installation and wiring, various signal lines are tied together or walk the same multi-core cable, and the signal will be interfered with, especially in the long pipe where the signal line and the power line walk together. In this case, the differential pressure transmitter will not communicate on site, or even misindicate. Therefore, in the process of installation, it is necessary to avoid the occurrence of similar misoperation, and the distance between the instrument cable and the power cable trough should be increased.
Electrical signal transmission failure
Due to certain differences in the level of installation, use and maintenance personnel, in order to save manpower, material resources, financial resources or consider other factors, the differential pressure transmitter is often placed near the equipment under test, resulting in too far electrical signal transmission distance, so that the electrical signal has interference and attenuation. Therefore, it is necessary to appropriately increase the cross-sectional area of the cable line to solve this problem.
