Explosion-proof pressure transmitter, due to its special explosion-proof performance, in the field installation and use, need to keep in mind the following specifications.

First, explosion-proof pressure transmitters need to be installed without pressurization and without power supply.

Second, in the case of explosion hazard, it is forbidden to operate the explosion-proof pressure transmitter in the power supply state. Except when explosion-proof pressure transmitters are connected via intrinsically safe circuits.

Third, whether it is in the explosion hazard area or not, ensure that the overall line is in an equipotential protected state.

Fourth, if the explosion-proof pressure transmitter has the possibility of lightning strike or overpressure damage, lightning protection measures against overpressure must be taken.

Fifth, excessive dust deposition (more than 5mm) or complete coverage of dust on the surface of explosion-proof pressure transmitters must be avoided.

Sixth, it must be used in an explosion-proof gas environment with the associated equipment that has passed the explosion-proof certification to form an explosion-proof system. The wiring of the system must comply with the requirements of the instruction manual of the explosion-proof pressure transmitter and the associated equipment at the same time, and the terminal must not be connected incorrectly.

Seventh, the explosion-proof pressure transmitter can be repaired only when the installation site confirms that there is no flammable gas.

8. The connection cable between the explosion-proof pressure transmitter and the associated equipment should be a shielded cable with an insulating sheath, and its shielding layer should be grounded in a safe place.
