Double flange pressure transmitter If mounted directly on the measuring point, it can be supported by the connecting pipe, or it can be mounted on the dial or it can be mounted on the 2″ pipe with the mounting bracket.
Double flange pressure transmitter flange connection holes are 1/4-18NPT (tapered pipe thread); flange connector is 1/2-14NPT.Unscrewing the flange connector screws, double flange pressure transmitter is easy to remove from the process piping. The center distance between the two flange connection holes is 54mm (2/8″), and its connection pipe can be directly mounted on the flange. The center hole distance can be changed to 51, 54 or 57mm (2″, 2/8″ or 2/4″) by turning the flange connector.
To ensure that the flange joints seal, the two screws should be hand-tightened first, then the first screw should be tightened with a wrench.
The body of the dual flange pressure transmitter can be rotated in the flange, and as long as the flange joint is kept vertical, rotating the transmitter body will not cause a change in zero point. If the flange is mounted horizontally (e.g., to measure flow in a vertical pipe), the effect of the hydraulic head due to the difference in the height of the connecting pipe must be eliminated and the zero point must be adjusted again.
Double flange pressure transmitter relative to the process of piping the correct installation, depending on the measured medium, the following circumstances should be considered to determine its appropriate installation location.
1, corrosive or superheated media should not be in contact with the double flange pressure transmitter.
2、Prevent slag from settling in the pilot tube of double flange pressure transmitter.
3, the hydraulic head in the two pilot tubes should be balanced.
4, the pilot tube may be as short as possible.
5, the pilot tube should be installed in the temperature fluctuations and temperature gradient of small places.
