Diaphragm type—— The elastic sensing element of the diaphragm pressure sensor is a round metal flat diaphragm fixed around the perimeter. When the diaphragm is deformed under pressure, both the radial strain and the tangential strain at the center reach a positive maximum, while the radial strain at the edge reaches a negative maximum and the tangential strain becomes zero. Therefore, the two strain gauges are often attached to the positive and negative maximum strain, and connected to the half-bridge circuit of the adjacent bridge arm to obtain greater sensitivity and temperature compensation. The use of round foil strain gauges maximizes the strain effect of the diaphragm. The nonlinearity of this pressure sensor is significant. The latest product of diaphragm pressure sensor is to integrate the role of elastic sensitive elements and strain gauges into a monocrystalline silicon diaphragm, that is, a solid-state pressure sensor made by diffusion on a monocrystalline silicon diaphragm by an integrated circuit process, and a solid-state pressure sensor made of peripheral fixed structure. Strain gauge beam type – When measuring small pressures, a fixed beam or a structure of equal strength beam can be used. One method is to use a diaphragm to convert the pressure into force, which is then transmitted to the strain beam through the force transfer rod. The maximum strain of the fixed beam at both ends is at both ends and midpoints of the beam, and the strain gauges are attached to these places. There are other forms of this structure, e.g. with a cantilever and diaphragm or bellows. Combined – In combined strain pressure sensors, elastic sensing elements can be divided into receptor elements and elastic strain elements. The receptive element converts the pressure into force and transmits it to the most sensitive part of the elastic strain element, while the strain gauge is attached to the maximum strain of the elastic strain element. In fact, the more complex strain gauge type and strain beam type belong to this type. The sensing elements include diaphragms, membrane boxes, bellows, Bourdon tubes, etc., and elastic strain elements include cantilever beams, fixed beams, π-shaped beams, ring beams, thin-walled cylinders, etc. They can be combined into a variety of types according to different needs.
